Caledonia Farm Vets provides veterinary care and advice on all aspects of sheep and goat health and husbandry. Our services are tailor-made and suitable for all sheep owners from the largest commercial flocks to hobby farmers and pet sheep.
The lambing season allows our biggest contact with sheep farmers. In North Scotland our lambing season runs from December to the end of April. Our Strichen practice is fully stocked with all the required lambing sundries; Ritchie Marking sprays, SSCL colostrum, feeding bottles, Uderley EZ, Trusti Tubers, castration rings and much more.
In addition to producing the basic flock health-plan, we also offer whole flock advice on all veterinary and management matters. Common areas that we are asked to cover include:
