Startect Dual Active is an oral anthelmintic two active ingredient wormer, containing derquantel (10mg/ml) and abamectin (1mg/ml). This combination is designed to delay and develop resistance in gastrointestinal nematodes, including strains resistant to other anthelmintic classes.

Startect Dual Active dosage involves administrating orally at 1ml per 5kg of body weight, providing 2mg derquantel and 0.2mg abamectin per kg. Make sure you use the correct drenching gun and calibrate accurately to ensure correct dosing. Also, weigh your sheep accurately and group animals accordingly to avoid under or over-dosing. The meat withdrawal for sheep is 14 days and this product is not authorised for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.
